  Off to the Dressage Nationals
                    we go!!

I had no idea this life-altering and amazing trip was on my horizon. I had not shown any horses in 8 years due to multiple health issues with my other horses. As all horse people know, it is an up-and-down roller coaster. Horses are complicated and fragile, and it takes a strong constitution to weather these ups and downs. So now to the ups!!
Classic Kölur
by Carlee Arnett

Iceland’s oldest trail is Kjölur, which goes through the desert highlands. It starts near Aykureyri and goes south towards Thingvellir National Park between the country’s two most spectacular glaciers-Langjökull and Hofsjökull. This trail has been ridden since the 10th century, so householders could attend parliament each summer.

Century Ride Story
by Suzanne Reed
I met Muztagh, affectionately known as Muzé, in early 2022 when my own horse, Leonardo (Leo) sustained a suspensory ligament injury. Riding the more highly trained Muzé has not only kept me fit while I rehabilitate Leo, but also, helped me advance my skill riding some of the higher-level dressage movements. I am forever grateful to Carolyn and Jim McMullen for making Muzé available to me and for welcoming Leo and me to their beautiful facility.
